The effects of AUTH research programs, Datis and Eupoplink, will be presented at a two -day international conference on August 24 and 25, 2025, at KEDEA, AUTH.
Researchers and researchers will participate in the conference work Experts from the fields of Political Science, the Methodology of Social Research, European studies and public communication, with the aim of presenting modern research and innovative methods on inclusion, populism, Euroscepticism and political attitudes in Europe.
Datis “maps” social cohesion in Greece
Aim of Datis Research Project (Data for Inclusive Societies) is The study of the factors that reinforce Or they prevent the inclusion in modern society, utilizing innovative methodological approaches, with the aim of deeply understanding social cohesion in Greece.
Datis is implemented in the context of National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0”, with the funding of the European Union – NextGenerationeu. Implementing body is the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (EL.IDEK). The scientific director of the project is the professor of the Department of Political Science of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
Eupoplink: European research, co -ordinated by AUTH that sheds light on populism and Euroscepticism
The Cost Eupoplink action was created As a continuation of the EL.IDEK funded program Datapopeu and is a European collaboration of actors that focus on the study of the relationship between Euroscepticism and populism in Europe, utilizing comparative innovative methods and comparative analysis.
Program’s goal is the in -depth understanding of the causes and consequences of these phenomena, as well as the formulation of proposals that will help address their negative effects. Eupoplink is one of the few actions of Cost in the field of social sciences and one of the few that has a coordinator of a Greek body, the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, in about four decades of its operation.
