Thessaloniki: Protest march for the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide


Protest march for 110 years from Armenian genocide made on its main roads Thessalonikimembers of the Armenian community of the city.

The protesters gathered on the pedestrian street of Hagia Sophia and then, holding banners and flags and shouting slogans against Turkey, they marched shortly before the Turkish consulate in Agios Dimitrios, where the barrier was placed.

They formed the date of 1915 during which the genocide began and then set fire to them, and were not allowed to thyroide their resolution at the Turkish Consulate.

The rally ended with the protesters chanting the national anthems of Greece and Armenia.
