The 18 -year -old who beaten wildly a 13 -year -old in the Sykies Thessalonikihe will be in a home restriction, after a disagreement between an investigator and prosecutor over whether or not to be detained.
The disagreement has arisen over the 18 -year -old criminal treatment of the 13 -year -old’s wild beating in Sykies, Thessaloniki, with the investigator considering that he should be released, while the prosecutor was in favor of his detention.
The disagreement between them will be resolved by the Thessaloniki Criminal Court which will be convened in the coming days. Until then, the 18 -year -old will remain on home restriction.
THE young man is being persecuted for attempted homicide Co -conspiracy (felony), as well as for unlawful weapons and arson (misdemeanors).
According to police, the incident happened shortly after midnight last Wednesday 10.09.2025, near the Church of Saint Theodore. The 13 -year -old victim was with two of his friends when he was approached by a group of 11 people who attacked him with wood and other objects, injuring him.

After an ELAS investigations, the 18 -year -old was arrested by the two friends of the 13 -year -old.
The young defendant apologized to the presence of his parents while being examined by a child psychologist. He reportedly denies any involvement in the bloody incident and says that at the time of the attack he and his company were in a catering shop far from the spot.
Speaking to newsit.gr the minor’s father pointed out that his child has holes in the head and that he was attacked 10 to 15 people.
