Thousands of loyalists experienced in the evening of Good Friday (18.04.25) Thessaloniki gathered in Aristotelous Square to see the meeting of five Funeral.
For the second consecutive year, the five Epitaphs met in the central square of Thessaloniki, with the spectacular spectacle causing a thrill.
These are the Epitaphs of the Cathedral of the Church of the God of Wisdom, the Metropolitan Church of St. Gregory of Palamas, the Monastery of St. Theodora, the Church of Panagia Chalkeon and the Church of St. Nicholas of Tranos.
Little and big faithful waited early in Aristotelous Square to watch the ceremony closely.
The meeting of the five Epitaphs in the city center is expected to be established, reinforcing the religious identity of Thessaloniki.
At the same time, it will turn Good Friday into a unique experience for residents and visitors.
They will chant trumpets of the Epitaph of the Last and will take place.
