A 25 -year -old psychologist from Thessaloniki He has been fighting a tough battle for rehabilitation centers for a month, after the scary car accident, when a drunk driver fell on her while waiting for the KTEL stop.
Speaking to Star, the young woman is shocked by her narrative. As she explains, she had chosen to leave her car at home on the day of the accident in order not to drive under the influence of alcohol.
“I have a problem on my knee, I have a cruciate ligament, I had various injuries and bruises. I am not self -serving, so it was not enough to stay in Thessaloniki, I needed help, “he describes.
The incident occurred when the 25 -year -old and her girlfriends returned from Halkidiki, where they had gone for a swim.
“We all have a car diploma, but we knew we would drink and so we got the bus. And in the well -seated, a 19 -year -old drunk driver fell on us. If I remember correctly, at that moment he would say something like: “What did I do? It was like a slap … what happened just now?”
The conflict left behind serious injuries and a difficult daily life. A month later, the young woman was forced to leave Thessaloniki and her career, returning to her hometown of Ioannina.
There, with the support of her parents, she continues her restoration, as costs for treatments and medical monitoring are exorbitant. Her message is clear: the responsibility on the road saves lives – and indifference destroys them at one point.
