The two 17-year-olds who shaved the 12-year-old’s mustache in Hermione are under the supervision of a juvenile probation officer

The two 17-year-olds who threatened and shaved the mustache of a 12-year-old with falsetto in a school in Hermione.

The shocking incident happened last September at Hermione High School, when the two 17-year-olds approached the 12-year-old student during recess in the canteen and shaved him with the razor that one of them carried to school.

The 12-year-old told his parents about the brutal bullying he received from his classmates and they all went to the police together.

Speaking to newsit.gr, the father of one of the two 17-year-olds says about the decision to supervise them: “A session will be held once a month or once every fortnight with the child and the juvenile supervisor.”

“The juvenile guardian has not taken custody of the children, you have to look at the terms of the law and see what the court has decided means.

What is happening is that a session will be held every month or once every fifteen days and the juvenile guardian will monitor the child’s improvement, after all, this is what the court ruled and this is what it decided, this and nothing else,” the father tells newsit.gr of a 17-year-old.

The three-judge Juvenile Court ruled that the two juveniles committed the acts of dangerous bodily harm to a vulnerable person, unlawful violence, threatening and insulting jointly and will now be supervised by a juvenile probation officer.

For his part, the lawyer Giorgos Georgopoulos who represents the family of the 12-year-old student, speaking to newsit.gr, explains what the court’s decision means in practice.

“This means that the custody of the minors was assigned to a juvenile probation officer in their area, that is, all the basic issues concerning the minor will be decided and supervised by the probation officer.

The minor will normally live at home with his family, he will normally go to school, but the guardian will have custody of him. In a few months they will both have reached adulthood, but nevertheless this measure will remain until they are 21 years old, because there is a special provision by law, that supervision be carried out until they are 21 years old, so that they come out more mature in society, this this law makes sense.

For anything the child does, such as a trip with the school, the supervisor must know about it, they must report it to him, if he is going to do an activity, this must also be reported to the supervisor, the child is generally under the supervision of the juvenile supervisor .

The curator is responsible for any change in circumstances, for example if the child is enrolled in a basketball club and needs a signature, the juvenile curator will sign.”
