The State is giving up on remedies for the allowances of the relatives of the victims in the Eye tragedies and at Penas announced by the Minister of National Economy and Finance, Kyriakos Pierrakakis.
The relevant arrangement is included in the capital market bill that was recently submitted to Parliament.
Specifically the arrangement provides for the following:
1. According to the final decisions of the first instance of administrative courts, at the expense of the Greek State, in accordance with the provisions on civil liability, they are awarded: (a) pecuniary satisfaction due to mental distress in favor of a family of person who died or due to moral harm and injury to 456/1984, A ‘164) either during the flood of 15.11.2017 in the wider area of Mandra Attica, or during the fire that occurred on 23.7.2018 in East Attica, the Greek State does not exercise an appeal or resigned from the uninformed. 2. This shall also occupy the first instructing decisions issued until the entry into force of this Law. If until the entry into force of this Law or after which the Greek State shall be committed to the Greek State, in accordance with the first subparagraph of par.
3. Since the entry into force of this Law, trials have been repealed, which have become pending before secondary administrative courts, following appeal by the Greek State and in so far as it relate to the claims of paragraph 1.
4. The right to reduce the Greek State against a co -owned third party shall not be influenced by the provisions hereof.
