The 44 -year -old Irene Lagoudiwidow and mother of three, was found dead in January 2018 in her car, in a secluded area of Trichonida. It was in the back seats of the car that had been on fire …
Although her family used to say from the first moment that the death of Irene Lagoudi is a murder and not suicide, the Patras forensics, recently suspended, had attributed the 44 -year -old mother’s death to a suicide.
Now, Andrianos Gourbatsis, anti -commander and former Deputy Chief of the Fire Brigade, with a post on X leaves the Patras Forensic Service for the long -running death case of Irene Lagoudi.
“The ‘sinful’ forensic service, the death of Irene Lagoudi, who was found dead in January 2018 in her car, in a secluded spot on Lake Trichonida, attributed to a suicide while it was a criminal activity,” he said in the post.

It is recalled that the expert according to the 44 -year -old’s family, in his report, had described in detail how the woman’s body was found tied and moved by the passenger seat on the back of the car after the fire had first broken and extinguished.
Now, the complaint of Andrian Gourbatsi is coming to rejuvenate suspicions of serious omissions in researchwith the likelihood of a review of the case is not excluded.
