In autumn, the fastest Astra with a diesel engine will be launched. The 2.0 BiTurbo CDTI, which we know from the Insignia, produces 195 PS and 40.8 kgm of torque (available from 1,750 to 2,500 rpm). It will be available with the 5-door, Sports Tourer and GTC. The 1.4 turbo with 140 PS is also upgraded, with an overboost function that increases the maximum torque from 20.4 to 22.4 kgm. At the same time, the Astra’s 5-door and station wagon bodies are slightly updated. The grille has been changed to GTC three-door standards and has been positioned lower, while new fog lamps have been fitted. The rear bumper has a different design, mainly in the part that houses the license plate.
