The Lancia Ypsilon with double fuel!


Lancia is launching a new version of the stylish city car, with the 0.9 TwinAir engine and dual fuel gasoline-methane. The Ypsilon Ecochic needs only 3.1 kg of CNG to cover 100 km in a combined cycle, a consumption corresponding to 86 g of CO2 per km.

Even using both the 40 lt. of gasoline as well as 12 kg of methane, it can exceed 1,300 km in autonomy. In fact, using both 40 lt. of gasoline as much as 12 kg of methane, it can exceed 1,300 km in autonomy.

Fueled by methane, the twin-cylinder TwinAir produces 80 PS and 14.3 kgm of torque (versus 85 PS and 14.8 kgm using petrol).
