The head of the European Public Prosecutor’s Office Laura Kovesiis expected to visit Athens in the next 24 hours. During her stay in the capital, she will have meetings with ministers, government officials, the Supreme Court prosecutor, and will also visit the offices of the European Public Prosecutor’s Office.
In particular, among other things, he will meet with the Minister of Justice George Floridis. On the agenda of the meeting with Mr Floridis, it is Laura Kovesi’s request to strengthen the European Public Prosecutor’s Office in Greece. He will also meet with the Minister of National Economy and Finance Kyriakos Pierrakakisthe Prosecutor of the Supreme Court Constantine Tzavella and others.
However, no meeting is scheduled with the President of the Supreme Court Anastasia Papadopoulou.
