The Government Council for Economic Policy meets under the Prime Minister

The focus will be the US duties and how much they affect exports of Greek products

The issue of duties and Greek exports is expected to deal with the Governmental Council of Economic Policy, which meets today at 10:00 under Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis at the Maximos Mansion.

The Council’s agenda is expected to find the assessment of the situation, the preparation of the national reaction, the co -ordination of European initiatives. At the same time, shielding initiatives are expected to make exports facilitating exports to other markets. The Council will be attended by the Deputy Prime Minister, Kostis Hatzidakis, the Minister of Finance Kyriakos Pierrakakis, the Minister of Environment and Energy Stavros Papastavrou, the Minister of Development Takis Theodorikakos, the Minister of Labor Niki Kerameos, the Minister of Labor, the Minister of Labor Tsiaras, Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogiannis and Digital Politics Minister Dimitris Papastergiou.

Reportedly, the specific body set up in 2019 within the Staff State is re -activated with the aim of coordinating the “financial cycle” that Vice President Kostis Hatzidakis has overseen. The aim is for the economic policy, in addition to the macroeconomic, to focus on micro -economy, namely exports, competitiveness, infrastructure and more.
