Brake on the rate of growth of Greek GDP are now opening open duties of Trump.
This is evidenced by the data released yesterday (5.9.25) by ELSTAT, according to which on the one hand Greece’s GDP increased by 1.7% in the second quarter of 2025 compared to the corresponding quarter of 2024 (compared to 2.2% in the previous quarter) and on the other hand exports fell by 7.2% due to exports – (USA, etc.) under the pressure of Trump duties.
GDP data for the second quarter of 2025 relate just at the time when the International Target War at the US Initiative, ie April – June 2025, began.
And this is the first time since the US -EU trade war (and) began, which are so tangible to macroeconomic its impact.
It is recalled that since early April 2025, the US imposed a 10% duties on the EU, which were in place until August 2025, when they were 15%.
