It had nothing to do with the fatigue after a 36 -hour on -call on -call had the NHS doctor’s accident in Patras, as it was known in the previous days. Following the competent 6th Health District that investigated the matter, and Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis, posting on X, notes that the fact that the doctor passed a guarded crossing and collided with a suburban train was in no way due to fatigue.
As he said, after an investigation, it turned out that the accident had nothing to do with the long duration of the on -call.
“Respecting the doctor’s condition and wishing a passionate one, I will not refer to further details,” the health minister said in a Twitter post.
Mr Georgiadis also appealed to the drivers to be careful on the road and thanked the NHS employees for their continued contribution to the health care of the citizens.
He also stressed that the NHS belongs to everyone and that its credibility should not be used for political purposes, making it clear that the confidence of the world in the health system is vital to the success of public health.
