Greece’s trade balance deficit increased by 11.5% in October 2024, while the percentage decrease in exports is multiple times that of imports, according to ELSTAT.

In more detail, as ELSTAT data show, the total value of trade imports in October this year amounted to 7,163.7 million. euros against 7,273.1 million euros in the same month of 2023, showing a decrease of 1.5% (without petroleum products there was an increase of 648 million euros or 12.4%, while without petroleum products there was an increase of 640 million euros or 12.3%).
