THE coronavirus “Ignites” again in Northern Greece, where four areas entered the “red”, according to the epidemiological map of the country.
These are Pieria, Imathia, Pella and Kavala. Also, Argolida and Evritania remain in the red.
On the contrary, Heraklion, Crete, Achaia, Ilia, Messinia and Ikaria came out of the red – and now it is at the orange level.
Northern Greece: 49 out of 50 intubated patients in 14 hospitals are unvaccinated
According to yesterday’s data from the 4th Health District (RDA), the vast majority of patients admitted to the ICU in 14 hospitals are unvaccinated.
The percentage of unvaccinated patients admitted to the ICU is 98% while the respective percentages of those treated in single beds with a high oxygen flow mask and those treated in single beds are 81.3% and 82.9% respectively.
In detail, 50 patients with Covid-19 are treated in the ICU, of which 49 are unvaccinated, 16 are treated in single beds with high oxygen flow mask, of which 13 are unvaccinated, while 252 are treated in single beds, of which 209 have not been vaccinated.
