The analysis of the Conflicts also states that the need to join the existing fleet of the Navy, by 2028, of modern ships, which will enhance the operational capabilities of the Armed Forces sector, has led to the selection of the particular type of ship, as it is itself, as well as its only operations. According to the Trey Accounting Report, the Expenditure will be a total amount of EUR 982 million approximately, which concerns the payment of the implementation price of the above two (2) amendments:
- EUR 922 million for the supply of the fourth frigate of the Navy and the upgrading of the original three (3) frigates (amendment of no.16b/21 contract),
- EUR 60 million for the subsequent support of the four frigates as well as the extension of the initial period following the support of the first three frigates (amendment of Art.17B/21 Convention).
The above total expenditure will be paid in part from the current year to the year 2030 and specifically:
- 409 million in the year 2025,
- 141 million around the year 2026,
- 247 million around the year 2027,
- 126 million around the year 2028,
- About 31 million in the year 2029,
- About 28 million in the year 2030.
