Uncontrollable continues to burn the big fire broke out yesterday (18.08.2025) in the afternoon at Tirnabo Larissa at the “almond” position. The flames are visible at night.

The mobilization of forces is huge, as according to the Fire Brigade, they are attempting to:
90 firefighters, 8 groups of hiking sections of the 2nd, 4th and 10th EME, 16 vehicles, as well as the Thessaly SMEA team with drones.
The effort is strengthened by work machines and aquifers of the OTAs, which open roads and help extinguish it.
The fire has taken on large dimensions due to strong winds, and access to fire trucks is particularly difficult. The work of the ground forces becomes even more difficult after the sunset, as the air means have left.
At present, no residential area is threatened, but flames are close to livestock farms. The anxiety is great throughout the area, with residents watching anxiously on the front that continues to burn uncontrollably.
