Voting will put the programming positions and the party statutes
With votes on the text of the positions and the new statutes and with the speech of the President of the Socrates Famellou party, the work of the four-day SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance is completed today.
Yesterday, the differentiation of Pavlos Polakis, who submitted a different proposal from the position of positions on the issue of national bank ownership by the State, as well as public infrastructure such as regional ports and airports, was recorded. Nikos Pappas also supported the proposal of the position of the positions, who argued that the important control of the State in the banking system and not necessarily the ownership of the majority of shares. A compromise emerged for the changes in justice. Pavlos Polakis also expressed a different position on the subject of the collaborations of the left and progressive forces by criticizing the parties in the area, while attacking Dionysis Temponera who criticized Kasselakis.
A total of disagreement was made by Christos Spirtzis, who argued that there was insufficient dialogue before the conference and added that the positions to be voted on should be set for a new cycle of consultations inside the party. Christos Spirtzis responded as a whole by Socrates Famellos, who made it clear that the conference would not be self -defense. There was also a confrontation between Christos Spirtzis and Pavlos Polakis on the issue of professional executives. Mr Spirtzis tabled an amendment to the Articles of Association that makes it incompatible between the position of a professional executive and the member of the guidance. Pavlos Polakis accused him of “extreme populism”, arguing that there is no modern party without professional executives.
There is a low -intensity disagreement about the abolition of the tendencies proposed by the party leadership – so there are no parties within the party – and their replacement by currents of ideas. The procedure began at 10:00 with delegates’ speeches, and is estimated, based on the program, that it will be completed at 17:00 with votes on the position of positions and the statutes, although there are expected other differences from top executives.
