The drop in sales of Tesla continues in almost all the largest purchases vehicle of Europe, costing the company a significant share in countries with stronger demand for electric vehicles.
The new Tesla electric vehicles decreased by 39% last month in Germany and by 56% in the first eight months of the year, according to the Federal Car Transport Authority Wednesday (3.9.2025).
The automobile industry led by Elon Musk also fell a sharp decline in sales in August in France, Belgium, Denmark and Sweden. Norway is an exception, with sorts rising by 21% last month and by 26% since the beginning of the year.

In Germany, battery electric vehicles increased by 46% across the industry in August, continuing the trend of powerful electric vehicles, although Tesla is facing difficulties. Throughout Europe, Battery electric vehicles (BEV) increased 26% in the first seven months of the year, despite reduced Tesla sales by 40%.
