Terror in flight to Birmingham: Drunk passenger punched on air – “The plane will crash” shouted

An incredible video shows the frightening moment where a passenger was arrested after hitting a stewardess on the face on a plane flying from Spain to Birmingham of Britain.

The man caused terror to dozens of passengers and stewards after allegedly punching a stewardess in an an hour -long outbreak, which, as they said, began as the flight was landing. The 49 -year -old passenger, according to other passengers, was drunk.

It all happened on Tuesday morning (27.05.2025) on a flight from Gran Canaria to Birmingham, when 49 -year -old Paul Self, ignoring the crew’s appeals to sit in the face of landing, got up to the toilet and shortly afterwards.

The horrifying incident caused panic with cabin crew members screaming after unsuccessful attempts to immobilize the amok passenger.

In fact, a crew member was forced to shout at the passengers: “Sit down all down! Now! ”, Trying to contain panic.

After the landing, police men boarded the aircraft and arrested the 49 -year -old, who raised his hands and said, “Arrest me.”

Although he tried to resist, the police managed to handcuff him, ending an intense incident.

As he was removed, those on the aircraft broke out in applause. Paul Self is now accused of three cases of joint attack and will appear before the Birmingham Court of First Instance on June 10.

The airline does not seem to have made a comment on the incident so far.
