Taxi strike: tension and chemicals outside the Ministry of Transport – Taxi owners climbed on railings – see light and video

Tension was marked outside of uTransport and Infrastructure between the police forces and the Taxi owners.

Specifically, the incidents broke out at the taxi rally at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, when the protesters moved to another ministry entrance – as the central was locked – in order to enter the space and meet the leadership.

Earlier, taxi delegation had asked to see the deputy Minister Konstantinos Kyranakis. Ministry representatives have accepted the request, but said they would not accept Thymio Lymberopoulos in the area, due to “violent behaviors” he has shown in the past. This attitude on the part of the ministry has triggered tension again, with the taxi drivers declaring that they will stay on the spot until they see Mr Kyranakis.

It should be noted that taxi owners strike for a second day today marching to the Ministry of Transport.
