Against the proposal that Harilaou Trikoupi will submit tomorrow to recognize the Palestinians as a state, broke out between PASOK And SYRIZA, further increasing the tension between the two opposition parties.
PASOK’s announcement was prompted to SYRIZA that it would request a special plenary meeting to update the 2015 resolution on the recognition of a Palestinian state.
“Androulakis did not respond”
Sources of SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance recall that last Thursday the party president, Socratesproposed a joint action of the progressive opposition for:

him termination of the invasion of Israel in Gaza,

her sanction In Israel,
-
and recognition of the Palestinian state from Greece.
According to the same sources, Alexis Haritsis (New Left) and Zoe Konstantopoulou (Freedom Sun) responded positively, while the KKE reminded the existing joint statement of the four parties.
The only one who did not respondas noted, was PASOK’s president, Nikos Androulakisciting his tour of the burnt of Achaia.
‘No word for sanctions in Israel’
SYRIZA argues that the movement of Androulakis “essentially repeats an already in force 2015” without requiring the government the immediate recognition of the Palestinian state, which is – as emphasized – the real issue.
“As for the imposition of sanctions on Israel, it says nothing,” the same sources note.
‘Facilitates the Government’
Koumoundourou accuses PASOK President of moves alone and isolatedbreaking the front of the progressive opposition and facilitating, he argues, the Mitsotakis government:
“There are no small -party games on the Palestine issue,” SYRIZA sources said.
