Supreme Court: denounces Zoe Konstantopoulou for abuse of power and pressure on courtrooms

THE Supreme Court attributes to Zoe Konstantopoulou Inappropriate behavior and abuse of its status within the courts, pointing out that it exerts unfair pressure on the judges.

The announcement is addressed by the Supreme Court to the Plenary Coordinating Committee of the Presidents of the Country Bar Associations, on the occasion of the attitude of Mrs Konstantopoulou during the trial for the granting or non -exterior to Epaminondas Korkonea, who has been irrevocably convicted of homicide.

It is noted that the trial has recently been completed and the minutes have not yet been formalized and officially considered, but the incidents have become widely known through the media, which justifies its own intervention and investigation by the relevant bodies.

At the same time, he has been notified to the President of the Athens Bar Association, on behalf of the Protodiki Volos Eleni Beta, a report on a disciplinary investigation of the lawyer following complaints of “heavy and repeatedly offensive behavior” of the last judicial officers.

The announcement concludes by noting that disciplinary investigation into inappropriate behavior of judicial officers or lawyers is the sole responsibility of the relevant judicial bodies rather than collective bodies, such as the Association of Judges and Prosecutors.

The issue is expected to spark new reactions, as it is to comply with the rules of ethics within courts and the operation of justice in a critical and talked -about case.
