With inspiration and creativity, students from all over Attica were impressed at the 4th Educational Robotics Festival Piraeus, which took place on Sunday, June 1st, at the Peace and Friendship Stadium, as part of the events for the “Sea Days 2025”.
A total of 90 student groups from all over Attica, kindergartens, elementary schools, gymnasiums and high schools, where they presented their projects at an impressive robotics celebration, entitled “Exploring the Oceans and the Bottom”. At the same time, university and research groups, as well as technology organizations and companies, with original creations, participated.
The festival was a unique field of expressioncooperation and experimentation for “Little Scientists”. Their ideas, original and inventive, combined technological innovation with artistic sensitivity.
The Festival was co -organized by the Programming and Sustainable Development Directorate, The Robotics Workshop ‘Mellonlab’, The Extraversion Directorate, European Programs and Tourism, the Europe Direct Piraeus and the Peace and Friendship Stadium.
To students were awarded souvenir medals, recognizing and rewarding their efforts, delivered by Piraeus Mayor Yiannis Moralis, Piraeus Vice -Mayor Stavroula Antonakou, Deputy Mayors Dimitris Karydis, Panagiotis Reppas, Antonis Morantzis, Kyriaki Bourdakou Long.
Special presence at the festival was Zacharias, the favorite mascot of the days of sea, photographed with hundreds of children, scattering smiles.
The Festival was musically accompanied by the Piraeus Municipality Philharmonic Orchestra.
