THE Stefanos Tsitsipas is in the spotlight for the wrong reasons, with the Greek tennis player speeding and getting called for his foul.
The cameras of Attica Odos caught Stefanos Tsitsipas running at excessive speed and he did not escape the penalties.
Specifically, the Greek tennis player was recorded by cameras on Attiki Odos to run at 210 kmdriving a luxury car and thus became one of the first to be asked to pay the 2000 euro fine in this new way, but also to be deprived of his license for a year.
According to his lawyer, Mr Stefanos Tsitsipas was not the driver of the car. The Greek champion, however, made sure today to pay the fine and hand over his diploma.
According to the Live News show, Tsitsipas had seven day window to inform the police of who was driving, however he didn’t.
It should be noted that since November 10, 350 calls have been sent for increased speed on Attiki Odos.
Most of them claim that they were not driving themselves, while according to the Authorities, they very often blame the elderly parents, stressing that they are the drivers.
