Each of each other was knocked at a press conference that followed their meeting at the Prime Minister’s House in Checkers on Thursday (18.09.2025) the British Prime Minister Star star with the US president Donald Trump.
Starmer first told US President Trump: “You are among friends.” And he continued: “I think we all agree that there is a lot to celebrate about the special relationship between our two countries.”
Starmer also said the US is the United Kingdom’s “largest commercial partner”. “Together we support over 2.5 million jobs in both economies.”
Donald Trump welcomed the “inextricable bond” between the US and the United Kingdom.
Then Trump thanked Starmer for reception in “This beautiful place” and King Charles and Queen Camilla for a “fantastic night”.
He described his second official visit as “wonderful honor”, adding: “The links between our countries are invaluable.”
Trump and Starmer signed a new technological cooperation agreement between the United Kingdom and the US.
