Catalonia is affected by torrential rains in Spain where two people are ignored after sudden flooding caused.
“We are looking for two people in the chats,” a community of 17,000 inhabitants, about 50 kilometers from Barceloni, said the Fire Brigade via X after the floods in Spain.
“According to the first information, they were dragged by the inflated waters of the (river) Fos”, which flows into the Mediterranean, the source explained, pointing out that groups are looking for the “banks” as well as his “mouth”.
The fire brigade was made public as he rains in northeast Spain since yesterday afternoon, especially in Catalonia, where authorities declared a red alarm, sending warning messages to residents’ mobiles.
The rains caused sudden floods that influenced the Barcelona hospital in particular, which was forced to suspend the imports of new patients after the electricity was cut.
At Barcelona Airport, an aircraft that had just taken off to the US was forced to turn back there, as it was damaged by hailstorms in its anterior section.

The storm forced the Spanish railways (Renfe) to suspend the routes for hours throughout Catalonia, both high -speed train and regional and suburban trains.

Immediate aid services provided care of over 70 people, but none of them were in serious condition, according to their announcement. The red alarm, declared around 17:00, ended around 19:00.

In addition to Catalonia, other areas of northern and eastern Spain were also hit by rainfall, including Aragon, where part of the military unit of emergency (UME) and Valencia were developed.
The latter lived a tragedy at the end of October, when heavy rains left 227 dead. The authorities, especially the regional ones, were criticized then for lack of preparation and timely reaction.
