SON KEB: The NBA legend said guilty of second -degree attack with shots

His six-time all-star NBASon Keb, said guilty on Tuesday (27.05.23025) for a second -degree attack, compared to an incident with shooting outside a mall in Takoma, Washington in March 2023.

According to reports, the prosecutor proposed to the Judge of the Supreme Court of County Pierce, a sentence of nine months in prison, as well as a community custody year, while Son Keb will have to pay compensation to his victims. His sentence is scheduled for August 22.

The 55 -year -old former NBA star admitted he was shot against two men in a 4runner toyota. He testified that he was stolen on his cellphone, sports souvenirs and other personal items from his van. Using a tracking application, he identified the phone in that vehicle and tried to deal with the perpetrators, but to no avail.

According to his own version, he again identified the same vehicle in the Tacoma Mall parking and, he claimed, shot for self -defense reasons after considering that he was targeted by a passenger. However, video from the incident shows him opening the first fire as soon as he got out of his own vehicle.

KEB’s shots did not injure anyone, but caused damage to the 4Runner and another car. The two people allegedly targeted are both in prison for irrelevant cases.

KEB had been selected by the Seattle Supersonks in the first round of the 1989 draft and competed in the first eight of the 14 seasons of his career in the team. Known by the nickname “Reign Man”, he had an average career of 14.6 points, 8.4 rebounds and 1.2 plugs per game, while participating in six consecutive all-star games from 1993 to 1998.
