Skertsos: Four actions that make our lives better – from the frigate “Kimon” to the Land Registry

Posting on social media, State Minister Akis Skertsos chose four typical examples of the week’s government action, stressing that they contribute to a “safer, more fair, easier and more inclusive” daily life for everyone.

Among what stood out, the launch of the first marine tests of the frigate Belharra “Kimon” in Lorian, France, which he said, “will soon be a guard in the Greek seas.” At the same time, he referred to the signing of the contract for the radical reconstruction of a six -storey building that will be converted into a 95 -room student, capacity of up to 170 beds, for the needs of Panteion University by 2027.

Mr Skertsos also stood in the social dimension of people with disabilities, pointing out the operation of the new telephone line for digital disability card holders (210 300 7606). Finally, he highlighted the impressive acceleration in the procedures of the Hellenic Land Registry, where – as he wrote – “from 14,000 cases in September 2023, we reached 15,744 cases in just one week in May 2025”.

With numbers and focus on the practical impact of politicians, Akis Skertsos attempts to demonstrate that government planning does not remain in words but proceeds with measurable results.
