Sirens for upcoming air raid sounded late Friday night (22.08.2025) at Tel Avivbut also in other areas of Israelafter the army’s announcement that it identified a rocket launched by Yemen.
“Anti -aircraft defense systems work to intercept the threat,” Israel’s army added in a statement on the attack on Tel Aviv.
In a recent official briefing it became known that the rocket launched by Yemen was probably dissolved in the air.
During the incident, anti -aircraft defense systems made many efforts to stop the rocket, the army added. No injuries were reported, Israeli police said.
Yemen’s Houthi rebels aligning with Iran and controlling the most crowded areas of the country, launching rockets in Israel and attacking sea streets.
Houthis have repeatedly stated that their attacks are a sign of solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza.
Most of the dozens of rockets and unmanned aircraft launched by Houtha have been intercepted or failed to achieve their goal.
Israel has carried out a series of wounds as retaliation.
