Signed new BSE in the production and processing industry-above 10.5% increases in all categories

Signed new Collective agreement Between the Panhellenic Federation of Metal Workers and the Association of Business and Industries (BSE).

As stated in a related announcement, “the new collective agreement, with a validity of 01.07.2025 to 30.06.2026, is an important and multilevel conquest for the industry. It restores collective bargaining at the core of working life, restores wage inequalities and institutional rights and enhances the employee negotiating power. In addition, it shapes a stable and reliable protection framework, enhancing professional security and prospects for decent employment. “

Specifically, it provides for increases in basic salaries and wages compared to the minimum wage in two phases (01.07.2025 and 01.01.2026), which total more than 10.5% in all basic categories:

Craftsmen: +11.96%

Specialized Workers: +10.61%

First Class Electrosis: +12.16%

Second Class Electrosis: +10.57%

According to the announcement, these increases are upgrading the minimum earnings, especially for new workers, while enhancing transparency in pay and actually recognize the contribution of the labor.

The collective agreement also provides:

– Restore benefits,

– Recognition of past service with surcharges: 5% per three years (up to 6) for wages and 10% per three years (up to 3) for employees,

– Establishment of a Guardian Allowance,

– Settlement and updating of specialties, through a joint group of POEM and BSE,

– Ensure that no pay is reduced and

– Establishment of fixed and universal working conditions.

“The new collective agreement marks the start of a new era for the industry. It confirms that work is not a variable cost size, but a fundamental element of production and social cohesion. It shapes a new standard of collective arrangements, which promotes justice, stability and perspective.

For the federation, the signing of the contract is not the end of the effort, but the beginning of a collective course for the complete restoration of the rights, which have been abolished and the acquisition of new, modern regulations that meet the needs of workers.

With faith in our strengths, realism and plan, we continue the struggle for work with rights, dignity and stability, ”says the Pan -Hellenic Federation of Metal Workers.
