Democratic officials expressed disappointment at the Supreme Court’s ruling and President Donald Trump’s decision to suspend funding for the SNAP program.
“It’s a shame that the administration chose to go to court instead of shouldering its responsibilities to the American people,” New York State Attorney General Leticia James, who has repeatedly opposed Trump, said in a post on X.
