Reports for injured in shooting incident near mosque in the town of Orembro in Sweden on Friday (15.08.2025).
According to Orembro police, many people were injured in the incident with shots near a city mosque located west of the Swedish capital, Stockholm.
Authorities call on citizens to avoid the area, while the search for the gunman continues.
At the site of the incident they have also rushed to rescue services and ambulances. In addition, police have described the incident as a “assassination attempt”.
According to local reports, the incident occurred during Friday’s prayer.

Earlier this year, Sweden experienced the “worst massive armed attack in its history” when an armed man opened fire on the campus of an adult training center, again in Orembro, with 10 dead.
