Video document of the wild episodes between immigrants and police officers in the riot at the accommodation structure on Serres on Wednesday, November 12.
As can be seen in the video presented by ThessPost.gr, migrants clash with Greek Police forces, who are trying in every way to push the gathered crowd into the inner security zone of the accommodation structure in Serres.
A chase inside the structure ensues, with increased police force handcuffing those who attempted to escape the structure.
The video was recorded by an immigrant of the structure, originally from Egypt, who spoke to reporters and explained that the riot started because of the rejection of asylum applications.
It is noted that, on Friday, November 14 at 11:00 a.m., the 30 immigrants accused of the incidents are expected to be tried in court.
The 30 migrants, 29 from Egypt and one from Bangladesh, are accused of various offences, including holding prisoners, attempting to escape, inciting to commit crimes and violence against officials and judicial persons.
