Serious accident It took place on Saturday (10.05.2025) on the highway, 3.5 kilometers outside Serres heading to Thessaloniki.
The traffic accident happened at 04:00 in the early morning, when a 19 -year -old car driver lost control of the vehicle on the Serres – Thessaloniki highway, and hit the metal tracks and off -road.
From the fierce collision, the 19 -year -old was seriously injured and transported by ambulance to EKAB to Hippocrates in critical condition.
His release needed the intervention of the Serres Fire Service. There was also a 17 -year -old passenger who was taken to Serres General Hospital and was being treated out of danger.
The causes of the traffic accident are investigated by the Serres Traffic Department.
