Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis presented the philosophy of the new equipment program of 25 billion euros today in Parliament, who is currently in his diplomology. See K. Mitsotakis’ seconds:
As the prime minister pointed out in his initial speech, “investment in defense potential is investment in sovereignty”, stressing the need for new programs as a “inviolable term” for the Greek defense industry.
At the same time, he made it clear that the possibilities given by the application of the escape clause – a Greek position adopted by Europe – “will not be the reason for exaggeration”.
Concerning the issue of increases in all uniforms, Kyriakos Mitsotakis said, “To those who expressed a justified reflection on security forces, in addition to the increases we have announced, this government has highlighted the support not only in the security forces but also in the security forces, but also in the security forces.”
