Sean Diddy Combs will appeal against conviction in 50 months in prison for prostitution offenses

To appeal the Puff Daddy or otherwise Sean “Diddy” Combs, just 24 hours after his sentence in four years and two months in prison for offenses associated for prostitution.

At midnight on October 3rd (Greek time), Puff Daddy (Sean “Diddy” Combs) was found in the dock of the New York Federal Court, three months after his conviction for the two charges related to prostitution. He was acquitted by the most serious charges of sexual exploitation and conspiracy to blackmail.

On Monday (06.10.2025), Diddy’s lawyer criticized the judge, calling a “13th jury” and announced the appeal against the sentence.

According to people.com, Marc Agnifilo criticized the 50 -month sentence imposed by Judge Arun Subramanian.

“The judge acted as a 13th jury, which we did not choose,” said Agnifilo, who had asked the judge to sentence the combs to a prison sentence not more than 14 months, after the hip-hop king had been sentenced to prostitution, but was acquitted of extortion.

The combs, which will be recognized in prison, will serve an additional 36 months in a federal prison.

Agnifilo told reporters, according to ABC News and other US media, that the sentence would be appealed and that Judge Subramanian used coercion as a reason for the sentence.

“The jury’s verdict was quite clear,” Agnifilo said. “There was no white flesh trafficking, there was no blackmail, everything was consensual, everything was among adults, so it was only convicted of the crime of prostitution.”

However, the four -year and two -month sentence imposed on Puff Daddy (Sean “Diddy” Combs) was also smaller than the prosecution had requested. In a memorandum on the imposition of the sentence, the government had requested that the founder of Bad Boy Records be imposed on a federal prison.
