Seajets: Next to islanders – Free Medical Exams in Alonissos

An important health action was implemented by SEAJETSin collaboration with the Alonissos Municipality and Institute of Health Officers of Loveoffering free medical examinations to islanders.

In total, 28 doctors from 13 specialties conducted 390 exams in adults and children, covering needs that would otherwise require movement in mainland Greece.

The initiative, hosted at the Alonissos Elementary School with a fully equipped mobile unit, confirms the commitment of Seajets and Marios Iliopoulos to actually support island societies, enhancing the prevention, health and quality of life of residents.

He also adds that Seajets has been committed to the strengthening of island societies and improving the daily lives of their inhabitants by reinforcing medical prevention, welfare and solidarity, remaining aid to actions that bring closer to specialized health care.

Marios Iliopoulos, Seajets Strategic Planning and Development Officer, who traveled to Alonissos, said:
