Freely released today (12.10.2025) the 3 arrested for the death of the 5 -year -old boy in pool hotel in Santoriniwhich took place on Saturday morning.
The 38 -year -old manager of the Santorini Hotel and the 37 -year -old pool manager who is also a certified lifeguard are accused of homicide by negligence as opposed to the 33 -year -old father of the child facing the charges of exposing a minor at risk.
Authorities have completed the autopsy in the pool area, and at the moment the little boy’s family is awaiting the results of the forensic examination.
How did the tragedy became
The 5 -year -old was in the hotel’s pool in Santorini, with his tourist parents from India. When his father came in to take a dip, the youngster followed without realizing it.
When his father began looking for him, he found him unconscious in the fatal pool.
Despite the immediate intervention of both their own and the hotel’s staff, the little one did not come back.
Rescuers used defibrillator and transported him to Santorini Hospital where his death was eventually found.
