It all started last Thursday (5/6/25) when the 20 -year -old from Saint Demetrius left his home and did not return. All this time, according to Ertnews, the young man was in Peristeri. However, he and his company let his mother think he had been abducted.
The mother, on Sunday night (8/6/25), began receiving messages online from her son that he was abducted by strangers from the Vouliagmeni area and kept him in a side. She even sent her photos, asking her money to release him.
His mother sent, via Iris, 1,500 euros, but another person received. She was then asked for another 2,000 euros, but the mother had contacted the police in the interim and advised her not to give no more money.
Following the bank traces, they identified the man who received the money and thus arrived in Peristeri where the Saint Demetrius Security Police found the 20 -year -old alleged abductor and his friend. Subsequently, three more 20 -year -olds were found to be involved in the deception of the mother. And they were arrested.
