Thanks to the powerful high credit rating of the EU and the strong liquidity of the EU bond market, EU Member States will therefore have access to long -term loans at favorable interest rates, facilitating the increase in investment in key defense areas, the Commission has pointed out.
These interest rates will depend on the interest rates that the Commission will achieve in the future markets in the future, so these are not yet known, while the ultimate goal of the Safe average is to provide incentives for cooperation between the Member States and to provide interested Member States for a cost -effective source of funding.
