The gold medal Milena Kontou and Valia Lykomitou won the double skip in the World Championships rowing K23, held in Poznan, Poland.
The Greek rowing crew ended in a time of 6: 51.63, having taken the final of the race from the start of the final and leaving the second boat of Poland (6: 52.55) and the third of Germany (6: 53.51), resulting in the gold medal in the tournament!
Greek participation in the final was also in the men’s two, with Andrea Bourka and Alexandros Hadjiakoustidis finishing sixth with 6: 36.54. In the 2nd final of the Double Men’s Double Skip, Konstantinos Giannoulis and Jason Mouselim took the third place with a time of 6: 26.56 and ranked 9th in the general.
