In ‘red’ is the traffic Athens, after July licenses began to leave the capital from Friday afternoon (18.07.2025).
Vehicle traffic on all the main streets of Athens are difficult, with the traffic being intense in Kifissos, Athens Avenue, Attica Odos, Kifissias and the center.
Kifissos faces a big problem from the height of Kifissia to Aigaleo on the stream to Piraeus, as well as on Kifissia Avenue on the rise and descent.
The vehicles are also moving on the Marathon Avenue, Pikermi, on the stream to Rafina.
A similar picture in the southern suburbs with congestion in Poseidon and Vouliagmeni, especially at the height of Argyroupoli and Elliniko on the current to Glyfada.
Licenses leave the capital by road and via Athens Avenue, as “red” is the stream to Corinth from the height of Chaidari.
Significant delays occur on Attica Road from Gerakas to Transfiguration, in both streams.
