Rhodes: The winds dropped scaffolding on parked cars in the city center

Serious damage caused when iron scaffolding collapsed in its city center Rhodes late yesterday (19.03.2025) in the evening by the strong winds and they were parked cars.

The scaffolding in a renovation of a hotel complex moved several meters and fell on the cars parked below in the center of the city of Rhodes.

There is no injury from the first information.

However, a vehicle and staff of the Fire Service rushed to the spot to assist if necessary.

Traffic banned pedestrian traffic and vehicles on Mandilara Street in Rhodes.
