Sadness has scattered in the local community in Rose The tragic news of the sudden death of a 35 -year -old Bulgarian woman who lost her life in the afternoon (10/06/2025) while doing kite surf On the beach of Kremasti.
The unfortunate woman, who was in Rhodes with groups from her country, was involved in water sports kitesurf using her own equipment.
Under unspecified conditions she lost consciousness while she was in the sea. The locals and workers in the area were immediately mobilized to help, and the Port Authority of Rhodes was also alerted.
Unfortunately, the woman was recovered without her senses and shortly afterwards her death was found at Rhodes General Hospital.

“We did what we could but failed”
“The girl was on Kremasti beach, she was with her own Kitesurf equipment, she was practicing the sport on her own. He had come with a group from Bulgaria, it should have been around 35.
We saw at some stage her “eagle” being fallen into the water and we went to see what was going on. When we arrived with the rescue we found her unconscious, we did everything we could because we know from first aid.
The business I work is not about the event, but we, because we have the rescue, went to see if something is needed, because we are above all human. Whether it was not in our attention, we went to see if help needed.
I talked to a girlfriend and told me that she was taking some medicines and that she should go to the hospital to see if they were responsible. Now I don’t know if they influenced her, but she didn’t seem to hit – she was wearing a lifeboat and a helmet.
We also have a defibrillator, I dried it well first and then we used it. There was a doctor and people from the EKAB and they carried her Carpa before the ambulance came, which came very quickly, but unfortunately it didn’t. “
The tragic incident highlights the importance of direct reaction and first aid to emergencies, as well as the human solidarity that transcends the professional role.
Authorities are investigating the exact causes of death, with first reports showing that there were no obvious injuries or injuries.
