A strange incident in Beancaused the intervention of the Minister of Maritime and Island Policy Claus Kikilia.
At the behest of Vasilis Kikilia, and following the instructions of the Commander of the 2nd District of the Coast Guard in Volos, the immediate conduct of an administrative investigation by the Port Stylida Port Authority, following a verbal incident that occurred in the port of Arkitsa between the Citizen and the Citizen.
According to allegations making the internet tour, Roma allegedly attempted to sell wipers to a driver inside the port of Arkitsa.
The driver of the vehicle protested in a port for the situation, followed by argument, with the video capturing the port official, answering the driver, “put the car aside and sue me.”
It is recalled that the ports are expressly prohibited from any kind of illegal commercial activity – whether it is the sale of products or the provision of services without the required permission from the port management or the Coast Guard.
The incident has sparked reactions, with the ministry seeking immediate investigation of both the behavior of the port official and the overall adequacy of police and control measures in dealing with illegal actions in port areas.
