The new survey by RealPolls for Protagon.gr, conducted on November 9-10, shows changes in the electoral scene and especially in the estimation of the result, where New Democracy registers 30.6% from 27.7% of the previous measurement.
Specifically in prediction of election result, or SW breaks the 30% limit and reaches 30.6% from 27.7%. The PASOK registers an increase to 13.9% (from 10.4%). OR Freedom Sailing moves down to 7.6% (from 10.4%), while o SYRIZA falling to 5.6% (from 6.9%). To the right of the spectrum, the Greek solution increases to 9.8% (from 8.7%), h Voice of Reason to 5.9% (from 5.3%) and the Day25 decreases to 4.3% (from 6.9%).
In the intention to vote, New Republic registers 24.2% (+0.4 m. from the previous measurement), the PASOK-KINAL 10% (+1.4 m.), while the Freedom Sailing down to 6.1% from 7.6%. OR Greek solution rises to third place with 7.5% (from 7.2%), the KKE follows with 6% (from 5.7%), h Voice of Reason reaches 4.3% (from 3.8%), o SYRIZA drops to 3.5% (from 4.5%) and the Day25 to 3.2% (from 4.4%).
The undecided vote rises to 18% (up from 16.3%), while “Other Party” stands at 7.8% (up from 6.6% in October and 3.9% in September).
As for the energy agreements announced at the Summit on Transatlantic Energy Cooperation (November 6-7), there is a broad positive assessment: for ExxonMobil’s drilling in the Ionian, 30.5% answer “definitely yes” as to whether it is a positive step and “probably yes” 27.8% (total 58.3%).
For Greece’s role as an LNG transit hub, 30.6% “definitely yes” and “probably yes” 27.1% (total 57.7%). Nevertheless, to the question of whether “Greece is on the right side of history” based on the choices in foreign policy, 40.8% answered “definitely no” and “probably not” 21.7% (total 62.5%), while “definitely yes” 16.3% and “probably yes” 18.5% (total 34.8%).
In the field of foreign policy, as “best in defending national interests” is recorded Kyriakos Mitsotakis with 30%second o Kostas Al. Karamanlis with 18% and third o Alexis Tsipras with 13.7%, while the Antonis Samaras receives 6.5% and is located under George Papandreou. The activity of the US ambassador to Greece Kimberly Guilfoyle so far is evaluated positively by 33.7% (Positive – Rather positive) and negatively by 31.3% (Probably negative – Negative), with her action linked to the energy agreements.
In everyday matters, the economy remains a decisive voting factor for seven out of ten.
In a government-opposition comparison on a number of issues, the government is in the lead, however, the answer “neither of them can provide solutions” gathers the highest percentage. For energy deals and their impact on income, 56.7% say they will not improve their financial situation.
Regarding the scenarios of new parties, Mr Antonis Samaras garners a 10.4% overall likelihood of voting (“very likely” 3.8% and “fairly likely” 6.6%), with 73.4% stating “not at all likely”. Just in case party by Alexis Tsipras, 9.9% say “very likely” and 7.7% “fairly likely” (17.6% in total), while 67.9% say “not at all likely”.
Finally, in the evaluation of prime ministers, Kyriakos Mitsotakis registers 31.8% as “best in solving problems immediately”, with Alexis Tsipras at 21.3%. In the field of reforms, Mr. Mitsotakis’ performance is 38.8%, with Mr. Tsipras second at 17.9%.
