The Russian president Vladimir Putin called Israeli Prime Minister on Monday (28.07.2025) Benjamin Netanyahu Respect Syria’s “territorial integrity”, a week after many conflicts in the southern part of the country and the subsequent Israeli bombings.
Vladimir Putin “emphasized the importance of preserving unity, national sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria, as well as the strengthening of internal political stability,” the Kremlin’s statement on the Russian leader’s telephone communication with Benjamin Nitan.
Putin and Netanyahu also discussed the recent Israeli -Iran military conflict, with the powerful Kremlin man declaring “ready to contribute in every way to seek solution through negotiations on the Iranian nuclear program”.
