To strengthen the cooperation between the two countries, they discussed Vladimir Putin and its foreign minister North Korea yesterday (276.10.2025) in Moscow.
The Russian President, Vladimir Putin received on Monday in the Kremlin the envoy of the leader of North Korea, Kim Jong Unthe Che Sun Huias reported by the North Korean News Agency (KCNA).
“Many future plans to further strengthen and develop” bilateral relations were discussed during the meeting, according to KCNA. Che Sun Hui conveyed his “fraternal greetings” to the Russian President Kim Jong Un.

North Korea’s top diplomat visited Moscow amid growing international concern over cooperation between the two countries, in which North Korea is supporting Russia militarily for its invasion of Ukraine in exchange for military technology.
North Korea’s foreign minister also held talks with her Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov on international developments, in which a convergence of views on matters of strategic importance was found, KCNA reports.
During the talks between Che and Lavrov, the foreign minister of North Korea expressed support for Russia’s efforts to “uproot the causes of the conflict in Ukraine”. For his part, Lavrov expressed Moscow’s support for North Korea’s efforts to protect its security interests and sovereign rights, KCNA reported.
